The SUNY Downstate Bay Ridge Urgent Care Center is a walk-in medical clinic with state-of-the-art-technology.

We are located on 7th Avenue at the corner of 92nd Street in Bay Ridge, at the site of the former Victory Memorial Hospital.

Our space has been completely renovated for greater patient comfort and to enhance the services we offer.

» Professional, comprehensive, and individual care.
» A walk-in center with the capabilities of an ER.
» Physicians specialize in emergency medicine
» On-site x-rays and lab tests

Our experienced ER physicians treat the types of illnesses typically seen in a family physician, dermatologist, gynecologist or other doctor's office. But unlike a doctor's office, we are open 365 days a year, including holidays, with no appointment necessary.

We also treat non-life threatening sudden illnesses or unexpected injuries that require immediate attention – with much shorter wait times than most emergency rooms. Onsite x-ray, pharmacy, and laboratory services mean quicker diagnosis and treatment.

The doctors who staff the Downstate Bay Ridge Urgent Care Center are all board certified in Emergency Medicine, meaning they are specially trained to diagnose and treat acute medical conditions. And – because we are an extension of the ER at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, one of the best academic emergency medicine programs in the country – our doctors have extensive experience in ER settings. This sets the Downstate Bay Ridge Urgent Care Center apart from the usual "doc in a box" walk-in medical clinic.

Our goal is to make life a lot easier for patients seeking immediate healthcare services, whether it be for the flu, a cut that needs stitches, or workers' comp or injury.

True emergencies – a heart attack or stroke – require the services available at a hospital. Patients who come to the Urgent Care Center who require serious care, like those with chest pains, will be stabilized and transported to the closest hospital or our flagship campus in East Flatbush.

If you go to a hospital emergency room for life's small emergencies, the wait can be long, and the stress high. Here at the Urgent Care Center at SUNY Downstate Bay Ridge, we get you the care you need – fast.
