At its two clinical facilities at University Hospital, the physicians on the faculty of the Department of Family Practice provide comprehensive health care to people of all ages. Family Practice includes health maintenance, screening for health problems, prenatal and other women's health care, children's health and management of acute and chronic illness. A family practitioner can care for all members of a family regardless of age.

A family physician will coordinate your care with the other specialists at University Hospital. Family physicians can help you and your family understand the tests or treatments you may need. A family physician can help you and your family plan ways to stay well.
