Haesoon Lee, MD
Haesoon Lee, MD, Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics, earned her medical degree from Ewha Women's University in Korea, and then served her Internship at Norwalk Hospital (Yale University), and her Pediatric Residency at St. Francis Hospital (University of Connecticut). She completed a Pediatric Pulmonology Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx.
Dr. Lee is board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatric Pulmonology. She currently serves as Director of Pediatric Pulmonology at The Children's Hospital at Downstate. Prior appointments include the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey and Winthrop University Hospital.
Since 1991, Dr. Lee has been recognized numerous times in Who's Who in America, New York Magazine's Best Doctors in New York, Top Doctors: New York Metro Area, America's Top Pediatricians, Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd., and many other publications. She is actively involved in research and has published articles in major peer-reviewed journals such as Pediatrics, Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of the American Medical Association, Chest, Pediatric Pulmonology and Pediatric Emergency Care.
