The Theater Ticket Service, sponsored by the Faculty Student Association, is located in the Student Center, Rom 203. This office provides tickets to Broadway and off-Broadway shows, operas, ballets, concerts, sports events and other cultural activities in the City at greatly reduced prices - often 50% or more off the established rate. Notices of ticket availability are posted at the office. Tickets for weekends usually begin arriving on Thursday. Offers change daily and often arrive the same day of the event. Frequent checking of the listings is advisable. Those interested in an event not posted should contact Janet Halpern, Manager, who may be able to obtain the desired tickets, possibly at a discount. Ms. Halpern may also be able to obtain blocks of tickets for groups.
