About:

Dr. Lang received his M.S. from Columbia University, N.Y. in 1951, ; his M.D. from the University of Vienna in 1953. He completed residency in Radiology  at Johns Hopkins Hospital and University in 1959. Dr. Lang is Board certified in Radiology ABR 1959, Nuclear Medicine, Am Bd Nucl Med 1973; added qualifications in interventional radiology ABR 1996.

Dr. Lang held appointments as Assistant Professor in Radiology at Vanderbilt University, University Louisville, and as Professor of Radiology at LSU Medical School Shreveport & LSU Medical Center New Orleans, Tulane Medical Center, Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions Baltimore, SUNY Downstate Medical School Brooklyn, and Professor of Urology at LSU Medical Center, N.O, Tulane Medical Center and SUNY Downstate Medical School Brooklyn.

He served as Chairman of Department Radiology LSU from 1968-1992. Dr. Lang is a member and honorary member of innumerable US and international medical societies and a Fellow of SUR, SIR, ACR, SCVIR, Am Coll. Chest Physicians. He served as president for SUR, and Soc Gyneco-radiology. He served as examiner ABR 1983 -2009

Dr. Lang published 383 papers in scientific journals and authored 64 books or chapters, he delivered 420 lectures in the US, Europe, Asia and South America. He serves on the editorial board of J. Urology and Brazilian J, Urology and served in the past on 34 editorial boards (Radiology and Urology)

Dr. Lang is recognized for contributions in diagnostic Uroradiology and for development of innumerable interventional techniques in GU conditions and reproductive gynecology.
