About:

Dr. Michael Herskowitz is board certified radiologist with a certificate of added qualification in interventional radiology. He attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey followed by an internship in internal medicine at St. Luke Roosevelt Hospital. Dr. Herskowitz subsequently completed a residency in radiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center followed by a fellowship in interventional radiology at St. Michael’s Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Herkowitz has over 19 years of experience in interventional radiology, serving as the division chief from 1983 through 1988.

He teaches residents during interventional cases at both SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital Center, participates in surgical and medical conferences, and gives monthly department lectures.
