Tel: (718) 270-5104, 4407 • Fax: (718) 270-2667 e-mail: claire.hanley@downstate.edu About: Claire Hanley, M.D., M.A. received her undergraduate education at Tulane University and earned a M.A. from New York University's Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Institute of Fine arts. After earning her medical degree at Downstate, Dr. Hanley served as an Instructor in Pathology at New York University Medical Center and completed her radiology residency at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center of New York in Greenwich Village. She has completed both Body and Chest Imaging fellowships at Cornell University Medical Center and The New York Presbyterian Hospital. After a Breast Imaging Fellowship at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Dr. Hanley joined the faculty there, before returning to SUNY Downstate, as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology. While at Downstate, Dr. Hanley served as the Director of Breast Imaging at Kings County Hospital for two year. She serves on the Advisory Committee for Medical Students applying for radiology residency, and also on the Education Committee for the Radiology Residency Program. Dr. Hanley is a member of the American College of Radiology, The American Roentgen Ray Society, The Radiology Society of North America, and The New York Roentgen Ray Society. Dr. Hanley serves as a Film Reviewer for Mammographic Accreditation for the American College of Radiology. |
