Dr. Chaudary is a Board Certified Radiologist. She joined the Breast Imaging Division in January 2007. Preceding this, she was briefly at the New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn as the Director of Women’s Imaging. Before Methodist, she was at Victory Memorial Hospital in Brooklyn for seventeen years, where she served as the Chief of CT Division, Lead mammographer, interventional and general Radiologist, as well as the associate director.

Dr. Chaudary resides in Belle Mead N.J. with her husband Abdul Rehman and son Zubair, surrounded by members of her extended family. After the birth of Zubair in 1987, Dr. Chaudary felt the need to stay close to home and worked at JFK Hospital in New Jersey, till July 1989.

Dr. Chaudary graduated from the King Edward Medical College, Pakistan, in 1973 and was amongst the top 10% of her class. She passed her ECFMG exam during her final year at Medical School and did one year of OB-GYN internship at Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center in Karachi, Pakistan.

Following her immigration to the United States, Dr. Chaudary did a Residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, and served as the chief resident during her final year. In 1978, she did a CT/SONO fellowship at the Long Island College Hospital in Brooklyn. Here, she stayed on as an attending and then as the Chief of CAT Scan Division till 1988. While at Long Island College Hospital, Dr. Chaudary developed a passion for teaching, which she has a chance to continue now.
