About:

Dr. Jeff Alpert is a board certified radiologist who specializes in cardiothoracic imaging. After graduating from the University of Vermont College of Medicine, he completed his internship in internal medicine at the University of Maryland Medical Center. He then completed his diagnostic radiology residency training at Lenox Hill Hospital, located on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed his thoracic imaging fellowship training at the NYU Langone Medical Center before joining the staff at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in July 2010 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Radiology. He works as an attending physician at Kings County Hospital Center.

Dr. Alpert is a member of the Society of Thoracic Radiology. His professional interests include high-resolution chest CT, interstitial lung disease, and thoracic imaging of the immunocompromised patient.
