Application
A friendly and experienced staff coordinates all aspects of the fellowship training program.
All educational programs at SUNY Downstate Medical Center are open to qualified applicants regardless of race, religion, gender, color, creed, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, marital status or status as disabled veteran or veteran of the Vietnam era. The Pulmonary Division will be accepting applications exclusively through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). For application materials, you may contact the ERAS website: www.aamc.org/eras. ERAS requires the following documents:
– Common Application Form (CAF)
– Personal Statement
– Dean's Letter
– Transcript
– Three Letters of Recommendation
In addition to the ERAS requirements, we require that you submit valid documentation of US immigration status (if applicable) as well as valid documentation of all relevant examinations. The deadline for considering applications varies from year to year but is generally in mid February.
