Dean Pascal James Imperato, MD, MPH & TM, has joined over 400 physicians, health professionals, and technical experts from 80 countries to address the critically important issue of polio eradication. The Scientific Declaration on Polio Eradication launched on 11 April 2013. This declaration supports the Eradication and Endgame Strategic Plan, which is a plan by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) to address this challenging issue and disease and to promote education and eradication throughout the world.
