Property Control Department

The Property Control Department provides a means for uniform reporting and controlling of capital assets purchased by all departments at Downstate Medical Center, utilizing the Property Control System (PCS). The system is a SUNY-wide computerized database that provides the basis for several financial reporting systems. The department also provides guidance and assistance on any asset related issues, including new acquisitions, transfer or surplus of assets, and physical inventories.

 

Surplus Items Available NOW!Surplus forms received for items in excellent or good condition will be posted here.

• If you have a specific question about the item, or you're interested in seeing the equipment, contact the home department listed on the surplus form.
• When you're ready to have the item transferred to your department, contact Property Control at Ext 1465.
