Dr. Vastola received his otolaryngology training at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. He received his fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Baylor University School of Medicine and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, Texas. His clinical interests include pediatric airway reconstruction, pediatric sinonasal disease and cholesteatoma in the pediatric population. Dr. Vastola's research interests include the pathophysiology of pediatric sinusitis and investigation of the growth of hemangiomas. He currently is the Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology at Maimonides Medical Center and Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at SUNY-HSCB.
