About

Niv Mor, M.D. is a board certified Otolaryngologist with expertise in voice and swallowing disorders.He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Brandies University and an Doctorate of Medicine from The University at Buffalo, The State University of New York School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.  He received his training in Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery at The State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed a fellowship in Laryngology and Neurolaryngology at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital and Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Mor is Assistant Clinical Professor of Otolaryngology at Downstate Medical Center and has recently joined as a faculty member in the Department of Surgery at Maimonides Medical Center.   Dr. Mor has published numerous scientific articles and book chapters on voice and swallowing disorders, and he has a particular interest both in treating vocal fold paralysis and in the use of transoral laser microsurgery for the treatment of early glottic carcinoma.
