Dr. Goldsmith joined the Department of Otolaryngology in 1994. He did his otolaryngology residency at Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center and completed a fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children's Hospital of Boston, under the direction of Gerald Healy, MD. Dr. Goldsmith is board certified and has authored over 25 articles and chapters on various topics of otolaryngology, and presented at many national and international conferences. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His research interests include acquired diseases of the pediatric larynx, otitis media and hearing loss, upper airway obstruction, and his clinical areas include pediatric bronchoesophagy, otology, rhinology and head and neck surgery.
