Background and Expertise

Dr. Olumba is a board-eligible ophthalmologist who specializes in the diseases and surgery of the vitreous and retina including management of:

  • Diabetic retinopathy
  • Age-related macular degeneration (AMD)
  • Vascular diseases of the retina
  • Management of retinal detachments
  • Ocular trauma
Research Interests

Dr. Olumba's interests include the medical and surgical management of complicated diseases of the vitreous and retina. Dr. Olumba works with residents at Kings county directing the surgical retina service and sees faculty practice patients at the midwood Eye Center and Long Island College Hospital.
