Perioperative Care (Anesthesiology)
- Apply basic science Principles to the understanding of the pathophysiology
of the patient with respiratory, cardiovascular and central nervous systems.
- Develop an understanding of the need for immediate and effective therapy
for the acutely depressed patient.
- Become familiar with the risks and hazards of anesthesia.
- Become familiar with problems unique to anesthesia in order that one
may give useful advice as a consultant.
