SUNY Downstate to Provide Free Prostate Screenings September 15-18, during Prostate Cancer Awareness Week

SUNY Downstate Medical Center will mark Prostate Cancer Awareness Week by providing free prostate screenings for high-risk men, who start screening at ages 40-54 years old, and for low-risk men, ages 55-69 years old, beginning Monday, September 15 through Thursday, September 18.

High-risk men are defined as men with a family history of prostate cancer and African-American men.    

The screenings will take place from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at 470 Clarkson Avenue, Suite I (Eye), Brooklyn, New York 11203, each of the four days.
