Pediatric Neurology

The Division of Pediatric Neurology at SUNY Downstate offers a wide range of services for children with neurological disorders, including epilepsy, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder, head injury, cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, and many others. The division has a commitment to excellence in teaching and is highly supportive of both clinical and basic research. The teaching program is integrated with the Stanley Lamm Institute and the Institute of Basic Research in Developmental Disabilities in Staten Island. The department has affiliations with most major hospitals in Brooklyn; its two primary affiliates are SUNY Downstate's University Hospital of Brooklyn and Kings County Hospital Center.
