Department of Neurology
Education Programs in Neurological Science
Medical education and training programs are integral to the Department of Neurology. Medical students, residents, and fellows find opportunities in the classroom, the research lab, and in patient care rooms to advance their development as physicians and scientists.
Continuing medical education for all department members takes place in two weekly sessions. Grand Rounds every Friday morning features an invited speaker with an academic topic of general interest to the faculty. In addition, an all-department case conference is held every Tuesday morning. These sessions provide not only academic education but also allow the department members to gather for informal discussion before and after the conference.
