Coverage & Requirements

Coverage

Night float: from 9:30 PM – 10AM, Sun – Thurs.

Two months in first year and 1.5 months in second year, in 2-week intervals.

Call

• 1st and 2nd year residents take Short Call until 10 PM, Sunday – Thursday and over night Friday, Saturday, and some holidays.
• 3rd year residents take call from home.

Advisors

Attending physicians meet semiannually with the residents to discuss current progress and future plans.

Scholarly requirement

We require a publication quality article by the end of residency. This may be research or a review of a topic of clinical or basic neuroscience interest.
