Same Day Courier Service

Mail Services provides special arrangements for Same Day services within the NYC and tri-state area through a local messenger service. Active Transport Messenger Service, Inc. is SUNY Downstate's selected courier providing foot messengers and van service throughout the five boroughs as well as the tri-state area for Same Day deliveries ranging from small envelopes to large packages.

Contact Mail Services at 718-270-1175 for rates, billing, and pick-up arrangements for your very urgent letter or parcel. Courier Service arrangements must be made by 11:30am to assure Same Day delivery.

Mail Services will make the appropriate arrangement for pick-up & delivery. A requisition indicating the fiunding source for charges must be submitted at the time the user department drops off items at Mail Services.
