WHAT BROOKLYN WOMEN WANT TO KNOW

To find out how you, our readers, responded to the premiere issue of Brooklyn Women's Health, and to learn what topics interest you most, we distributed copies of the newsletter along with a questionnaire at four branches of the Brooklyn Public Library and a local beauty salon. We also received mailed-in responses from other readers. In all, more than 100 women ranging in age from 13 to 79 responded, and their comments were overwhelmingly positive. We are indebted to the staff of the Brooklyn Public Library and to the Black Pearls Program for helping us.

Over 90 percent of the respondents felt that the articles were easy to read and informative. When asked which health issues concern them most, stress reduction, nutrition, menopause, depression, and diabetes headed the list. That is why we have focused on several of these topics in this issue of Brooklyn Women's Health.

Please continue to keep us informed about the health subjects that interest you most. Kindly fill out the following questionnaire.
