Education:
Dr. DeHovitz obtained his MPH from the University of Texas at Houston in 1975, and his MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas, in 1980.
 
Postdoctoral Training:
Dr. DeHovitz was a Strang Fellow in Public Health at Cornell University Medical College, New York, and a Fellow in International Medicine (Infectious Diseases) at New York Hospital (1985).
