Postdoctoral Training: Clinical and Programmatic Leadership: Medical Director, Brookdale Hospital Treatment for Life Center Acting Chief of Infectious Diseases, Interfaith Medical Center Staff Attending , Interfaith Medical Center Research Participation: Dr. Croney’s research has focused on infectious diseases and treatment modalities for HIV infection. Current Research Support: Principal Investigator: Gilead - The Comet Study (Combination of Efavirenz and Truvada); A Phase IV evaluation of switching from twice daily Zidovudine and Lamivudine (Combivir) to a simplified once-daily regimen of co-formulated Emtricitabine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate (Truvada) in Virologically Suppressed, HIV infected patients taking Efavirenz. (24 Weeks). Co-Investigator: APV30005 GSK - An open-label Phase III, study to assess the long-term safety profile of GW433908 containing regimens in HIV-1 infected subjects (current -2006).
