Michael Howard Augenbraun, MD, FACP

Dr. Augenbraun obtained his M.D. in Medicine at the University of Rochester, Rochester, New York, in 1985.

Postdoctoral Training:
Dr. Augenbraun received his Postdoctoral training in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, New York and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York (1988) and was a Clinical Fellow in Infectious Diseases (1989), and a Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases at SUNY Downstate Medical Center (1990).

Clinical and Programmatic Leadership:

Hospital Epidemiologist and Director, Department of Epidemiology, University Hospital of Brooklyn
Medical Director, KCHC Sexually Transmitted Diseases Clinic
Director, KCHC Lumbar Puncture Clinic

Research Participation:
Research work focused on Infectious Diseases, and epidemiologic studies of HIV/AIDS infection.
