Dr. Landesman obtained his MD Magna Cum Laude, from SUNY Downstate Medical Center in 1972.

Postdoctoral Training:
Dr. Landesman was a Clinical and Research Fellow in Infectious Diseases at Tufts New England Medical Center, Boston, Massachusetts in 1978).

Research Participation:
Research focused on perinatal and heterosexual transmission of HIV, education of health care providers, new treatment modalities, behavioral aspects of HIV transmission and epidemiologic and statistical studies of HIV infection.
