Dr. Hyman obtained his MD from The Sackler School of Medicine, New York State Program, Tel Aviv University, in 1984.

Dr. Hyman was an Infectious Diseases Fellow at SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Kings County Hospital Center (1990) and Chief Medical Resident in Internal Medicine, Kings County Hospital Center (1988).
