PROPERTY CONTROL DEPARTMENT

Location: BSB 3-145 (old library area)

The Property Control Department provides a means for uniform reporting and controlling of capital assets purchased by all departments in Downstate Medical Center, utilizing the Property Control System (PCS) which is a SUNY-wide computerized system that provides the basis for several financial reporting systems. The department provides guidance and assistance on any asset related issues, including new acquisitions, transfer or surplus of assets, and physical inventories.
