Course Description
Students will attend lectures on important topics in medical toxicology. Class would be held twice per week for 1.5 to 2 hours for a total of 4 hours per week. There will be required readings and a 10-page paper. A final examination will be given on the last day. Grading will be pass/fail. Students will attend the New York City Poison Center (Bellevue) monthly conference with Dr. Wiener on the first Thursday of the month from 2PM-4PM in lieu of lecture that day. Students will perform a 10-15 minute Power Point presentation summarizing their paper.
