Research Opportunities, Education & Training
The Division of Disaster Preparedness offers multiple research opportunities for SUNY Downstate students, residents and staff. Faculty members have acted as mentors to students and residents on research projects that have lead to presentations in major national and international academic conferences as well as publications in numerous well-established medical journals. Mentoring is also available for research projects that are required parts of such academic programs as the SUNY Downstate Masters in Public Health program.
