BLS - Basic Life Support
Basic Life Support (BLS) / Heartsaver AED
These courses are designed for the layperson and health-care professional alike. First, our experienced instructors will first train the student to be able to perform effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) including airway positioning, rescue breathing and chest compressions on patients of all ages. Second, the student will learn how to operate an automated external defibrillator (AED). These skills are the two most important aspects of saving a life after sudden cardiac arrest.
We offer discounted group rates for schools, community groups and corporations, and we can train you at a location and time at your convenience.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose.
