Performance Improvement

Performance improvement CME activities consist of three (3) stages by which a physician can learn about specific performance measures (evidence-based), apply measures learned and re-evaluate performance. Physicians can earn up to 20 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit.

Stage A:

Assess current practice using identified performance measures.

Stage B

Implement an intervention based on the performance measures selected in stage A.

Stage C

Re-evaluate and reflect on performance in practice (Stage B) by comparing to the assessment done in stage A.
