Computer Graphics Studio

Vincent Garofalo provides computer graphics design/production and digital photography for the teaching and research needs of the Department of Cell Biology. This includes production of Powerpoint-based lectures, departmental public-relations photography, Quicktime Video production for the PRIME web site, design of all graphics-related materials for The Center for Cardiovascular and Muscle Research (CCMR) and The Suny Eye Institute. Also, preparation of graphics for lecture hand-outs and research papers, design and production of research posters, image scanning and retouching.

Mr. Garofalo is the Macintosh systems administrator for The Department of Cell Biology which involves computer application instruction and technical support. Vincent has received awards for his photography from Nikon, Inc., Polaroid and Olympus Photo/Optical Corporation. The subjects of his personal photography range from Coney Island, the Wall Street area of Manhattan, and Rome, Italy.
