Electron Microscopy
The Electronic Microscope core Facility (EMF), administrated by Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at Downstate Medical Center, is a multi-user and service facility. The Facility is well equipped for ultrastructural research. It is housed with a well-maintained JEOL JEM-100C high-resolution transmission electron microscope and a LKB ultramicrotome. The facility is open to all downstate community and outside users. The instruments and technical service are available on fee-for-service basis. Clients can be trained in specimen preparation and use the instruments operation or can request assistance from the EMF staff. Mr. Wei Quan |
