REVIEW COURSE FOR THE NBCOT CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION FOR OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS REGISTERED AT SUNY-DOWNSTATE, BROOKLYN, NEW YORK
The Occupational Therapy Program at SUNY-Downstate is proud to offer our 55th Review Course for the OTR Certification Examination. This intensive 2-day course prepares students to succeed in all domains covered in the NBCOT Exam. Participants receive comprehensive self-study packets and attend problem-solving oriented lecture sessions with extensive audiovisual aids and opportunities to discuss review questions with faculty. The 2012 Review Course will provide information about the Case Simulation format and will provide practice opportunities answering Case Simulation questions.

Videotapes of Saturday’s session will be shown on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, for those participants who indicate on the Registration Form that they are unable to attend on Saturday. Video viewing will begin at 9 AM in Classroom E743 (7th floor of the Education Building)
SESSIONS INCLUDE:
• Application of NBCOT domains and content areas to occupational therapy practice in: pediatrics, geriatrics, psychosocial settings, physical rehabilitation, neurorehabilitation.
• Study tips and tips for organizing information for successful performance on NBCOT exam questions

LATE REGISTRATION: After December 23, 2011: $275.00.
No monies will be accepted at door. Enrollment is limited to 55 participants. Please register early. Registration fee minus 25% service charge will be refunded for cancellations made before 1/6/12.
