Midwifery Education Program

Master of Science Program of Study - Full-time Option

All students must hold a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and take a basic fetal monitoring course with examination prior to taking NRMW 5404 Intrapartum. In addition, students must hold current certification in neonatal resuscitation prior to completion of NRMW 5104 Neonatology.

The credits for these courses are undergraduate level credits and are not included in the number required for the Advanced Certificate or Master's Degree.

** Either Health Care Policy and Community Assessment, NRMW 5403, or International Women's Health Care Policy, NRMW 5302, satisfies the requirements for the MS degree in Midwifery.
